With a look reminiscent of European cafes, Bistro tables and chairs are more popular than ever. Whether made for outdoor or indoor use, they add a touch of casual elegance to any space. Many furniture lines offer their own variations on the classic bistro style table, which can be bought individually or as a part of set with matching chairs.

Dimensions One thing that sets bistro tables apart from other dining surfaces is their size. While not a rule, bistro tables are often taller than others- sometimes over 40 inches as opposed to the 30 inches that traditional dining tables stand- with chairs that resemble bar stools. Most bistro tables are round, though some companies offer square and rectangular models. Some companies who specialize in custom tables will let you, the customer, bring in a design of your own.
