I purchased this set for the balcony of my apartment. I wanted something that was affordable and would fit in a small space, but did not want to use canvas or plactic lawn chairs, which seem to be some of the few things to fit on our balconies. My original intent was to find black wrought iron, but I came across this set on my extensive internet search and fell in love with it. It looks great on my balcony and fit one of my most important my criteria - the table couldn't be too big or it just wouldn't work - and this one was perfect. Ironically, now that it's assembled (easy for even the most challenged do-it-yourselfer), after heavy rains, it dries quicky, while the canvas chairs I see on other balconies are not yet dry, which is a bonus. It looks very nice on the balcony, with some flowers on the rails, and my 3 1/2 year old grandson and I can enjoy "breakfast on the balcony" when he comes to visit, which is an added bonus. It's sturdy, very attractive, easy to assemble, what more could you want? Oh yes, affordable!

This bistro set is on a covered porch. I was looking for something black but really liked the looks of this set so I just spray painted it. Cheap and easy fix - it looks GREAT! Very lightweight but seems to be good quality. For light use I think it will be perfect. (And at the price, if it needs to be replaced in a few years - no biggie.)

GREAT TO GO OUT AND SIT AT FOR AN EARLY MORNING COFFEE OR EVENING WINE IN THE GARDEN. IT IS A LIGHTWEIGHT CAST ALUMINUM SET THAT IS PERFECT FOR A QUIET 10 MINUTES OR A PRIVATE PHONE CALL. I WOULDN'T SPEND THE DAY SITTING AT IT, BUT I DO SIT THERE FOR BRIEF PERIODS - SEVERAL TIMES EACH DAY AND I DON'T WORRY ABOUT RAIN, SLEET, SNOW, OR SUN RUINING IT. EXCELLENT VALUE FOR THE PRICE.
