Maintenance and Care Instructions

General Care & Maintenance:

Never use cleansers, abrasive cleaners, or bleach products to clean any portion of your furniture, including frames, glass, and seating material.
Clean and dry thoroughly before storing for the winter. Always drain any water that may have accumulated inside the frames.
Protect you furniture with commercially available outdoor furniture covers when not in use. If your furniture is being used in areas of intense sun exposure or hot temperatures, heavy pollution, or where birds and trees are plentiful, covering your furniture is especially recommended.

Warning: When using an umbrella with a dining table, always use a sturdy, heavy umbrella base. Always remove the umbrella from the table when not in use. Never open the umbrella in windy conditions.

Care & Maintenance/Steel, Cast and Aluminum frames

Steel/Wrought Iron Frames:

For regular cleaning: Clean with mild soap and water and a sponge or soft cloth.
To restore luster on finish: Use a clear liquid automotive wax to protect and to restore luster on the finish. This is recommended at least once a year.
If covering rust: Clean area with Extend (found in hardware stores) or with naval jelly following manufacturer's instructions. Wash with warm soap water. Repeat steps if necessary. Roughen surface slightly with fine steel wool for better adhesion. Wipe clean. When using touch-up paint, shake well, and use thin coats. Let paint dry between coats.

All TLC products are covered under our manufacturer's Limited (5-2-1-1) Warranty, which includes: the 5-Year Extended Limited Warranty for all frames, the 2-Year Limited Warranty for paint finish, and the 1-Year Limited Warranty for fabric and all-weather wicker.

All furniture manufactured or sold by Terrace Living Company, LLC under the brand name of "TLC" is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser and when product is purchased from an authorized dealer. If a product manufactured by Terrace Living Company fails structurally due to a defect in materials or workmanship during normal use within the terms of our limited warranty, Terrace Living Company will repair or replace the item at no charge. Structural failure due to rust or rusting on the general frame is expressly excluded from this limited warranty. If a product or item is discontinued or not available, we reserve the right to substitute similar products of an equal or greater value than the original item. Terrace Living Company reserves the right, in all cases, to issue a monetary credit for the original purchase price of the product in lieu of replacement. I love the Lisbon bistro set. I looked at quite a few and this was an amazing value in a beautiful design. I have placed it in a jungle-like tropical setting and it looks charming. I chose the black color. The punched out design on each piece is great for drainage. The chairs are comfortable, stable, and good sized. The product seems very well made. A great find!

This was a christmas gift for my daughter. When it arrived it had a small dent on top of the table. I called, no problem, we put it back in the box arranged for fed ex to pick it up (no charge).We were credited for the dented table and ordered a new one. [...] Very very pleased! Very nice table and chairs for kitchen nook and my 200 lb son in law is not too heavy for it. My daughter loves it.
