The color is what I would describe as a dark taupe (brownish), not grey. The assembly instructions consisted of an inventory of pieces, and a minimal diagram of how they fit together. It was not hard to put it together, but I recommend sorting out the bolts in a tray first. The aluminum construction is light weight, but sturdy, given proper tightening of the bolts. It is compact, and fits nicely in the small patio area that I bought it for. The curved backs and seats on the chairs make it more comfortable than other bistro sets I've seen in the stores.

The look and feel of this set isn't exactly what I expected. [...] I was pretty excited to get it assembled, but after putting it together, it was not quite up to my expectations. It looks nice from a distance but when you get up close there are quite a few imperfections with the coloration and finish. It also isn't real sturdy but comfortable enough.

    I love this set and bought it for a front patio. I just built a pool and am buying another one to place at my pool area. Love that it is made from aluminum - lightweight and will not rust.

          Great table and chair set - we ordered two of these and we are very happy. It was not too difficult to assemble but it did take about 30-45 min for each set.

          The design is great and although they are very sturdy, they are very light weight which makes it easy to move them around.

          A: Yes! The hole is a standard size 1.5 inches, perfect for a 6-foot umbrella.

          Q2: I am concerned that the weight of this aluminum set will not be enough to withstand winds on my 4th floor balcony. What is the weight?
