        We needed a solution to a space issue due to wheelchair assessibility without losing style or the ability to convert to a regular sized table to accomodate kitchen dining for everyone. This drop leaf table was exactly what we needed. During the day, we keep the leafs down so that the wheel chair can access the entire kitchen without being an obstacle and during the evenings and weekends, we can flip up the leafs and all dine together. I was purchasing functionality, but was pleased to find quite an attractive and durable table as a bonus.

        Q1: What are the dimensions for the table when the sides are dropped down?

        A: The table is 42 inches in diameter when opened. With each leaf in the down position, the tables dimensions are 42 x 24 inches.
