These stools are on the expensive side so I was reluctant to purchase them, especially since I could find very little feedback from other purchasers (which is why I'm weighing in). I have had them for several months now and am extremely happy with my decision. If you are looking for a stool that will comfortably seat an adult, including those who are over 6' tall, this stool fits the bill. The seat is deep and wide compared to most barstools and will support longer legs (and little ones too, of course). The leather is top grade, the wood finish is flawless and the decorative brads are actually understated enough that you can make these work in a more feminine decor just as well as a more masculine bar area. The only downsides, aside from cost, are that the back to the stool looks better than it feels against your back because of its shape - it feels like you are reclining against a rail. So if you are looking for a great stool for reclining, or just leaning back, this may not be a good choice. Also, if you have a tendency to step on the bottom rung of a stool for leverage to sit, these rungs may pose a problem - the front rung creaks a little in a couple of the stools (a bit disappointing for an otherwise well-made stool), so I've consciously stopped using the rung for leverage when I hop on. One of the nicest features, and perhaps a reflection of the price, is that you don't have to put these together. They come fully assembled and very well-packaged. Also - the product appears consistent over multiple orders - I ordered 3 at first (because that's the true size of my bar) and liked them so much that few months later I decided to order a fourth stool, which fit right in.
