    We use the product at our kitchen island. The height is perfect. They look good in the kitchen.
    However, because of the in home assembly, if the anchors that hold the legs, etc. together, do not set tight the seat will squeak and the foot bars will move. After putting in the hole fillers (caps) you cannot pull them off and adjust without damaging the hole filler (caps). Also, our stools were scratched in a few places.

      This stool is a great value and an attractive, functional addition to make your kitchen island an inviting gathering spot for friends. Ideal for kitchen islands with a transitional, contemporary or global aesthetic. Assembly takes 15-20 min at most and doesn't require extra tools. The only downside is that the bottom of each leg has a little plastic "button" nailed into it which may cause the stool to teeter slightly if each is not completely even (mine were not) and could possibly scratch hardwood floors. They are easily removed with a hammer or pliers and you can replaced them with a more appropriate solution -- the sticky felt pads sold at home improvement stores.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
